It may not be the dream Valentine’s Day date, but Brick’s school board meeting will go on as usual Thursday night.
The board is set to approve a $202,247 project to upgrade heating and air conditioning (gas and electricity) systems at Veterans Memorial Elementary School, with a taxpayer obligation of $$117,572. The board will also vote on a proposal to transfer Susan McNamara to the role of Director of Planning, Research, and Evaluation, the post previously held by recently-retired Dennis Filippone. McNamara is currently holding the title of Director of Curriculum and Instruction.
The board meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Professional Development Center, 101 Hendrickson Avenue (adjacent to the central office).
