It may not have been the $768 million Powerball jackpot (which was won by a single person in Wisconsin last night), but one Brick lottery player is $160,000 richer, lottery officials said.
One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $160,328 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Wednesday, March 27 drawing. The winning numbers were: 05, 18, 29, 31 and 32 and the XTRA number was: 03. The ticket was purchased at Country Farms #2, 380 Drum Point Rd., Brick.
“We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Country Farms #2,” said Acting Lottery Executive Director James Carey. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
