A developer has proposed a new Dunkin’ Donuts restaurant and drive-through location in Brick, according to documents filed with the township’s planning board.
The developer, 2026 Rt. 88, LLC, is proposing the store at the address which bears its name. The plot of land on which the restaurant is proposed to be built currently is vacant and wooded, located just east St. Dominic Church and just north of the Laurel Square shopping plaza.
The restaurant will consist of a 1,775 square-foot retail building with indoor seating for patrons as well as a drive-through lane. The project requires approval from the planning board as well as several minor “bulk” variances for buffers, sidewalks and signage. A hearing will be held at the board’s March 27 meeting, which begins at 7 p.m. at the municipal complex.
