Road Repaving, Water Main Work Planned in Two Brick Neighborhoods

Two Brick neighborhoods are slated for roadway repaving and one will be receiving a new water main, township officials said.

The township council unanimously voted to seek bids for roadway improvements in the Beverly Beach neighborhood in the Herbertsville section. Mayor John Ducey said Beverly Beach Road and South Beverly Drive will both be repaved. Township paving projects also include drainage improvements and sidewalk and driveway apron work where needed.

Another pair of streets, between Midstreams and Jordan roads, will see repaving as well as a water main replacement project. Ducey said the township coordinated with the BTMUA to ensure the water main replacement on Dennis Drive would be completed before paving work would begin. Dennis Drive is set to be repaved along with Algonquin Trail and Towhee Trail.
