A Brick Township massage therapist has been charged with sexually assaulting a client, the Ocean County Prosecutors Office announced Monday.
Jonathan Higgins, 28, of Toms River, is facing a charge of sexual assault in relation to the alleged crime, which took place June 25, prosecutors said.
According to prosecutors, Higgins, while employed as a massage therapist at Hand and Stone Massage & Facial Spa in Brick Township, “committed an act of penetration on a female customer” during the course of a massage.

Higgins was arrested and processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters and transported to the Ocean County Jail where he is lodged pending a detention hearing.
