Brick’s Summerfest is a well-known township institution, but this summer officials are bringing a second series of concerns to town.
The Traders Cove Concert Series begins in August. It features four free performances, all beginning at 7 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to bring their chairs and blankets. Each show’s rain date is the following night. The schedule is as follows:
Aug. 7:Basso Brothers; acoustic performances of classic rock favorites from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.
Aug. 14: Tim McLoone & The Shirleys; a dynamic blend of oldies, R&B, country and Broadway with a healthy dose of “girl group” attitude.
Aug. 21: Motor City Revue; dance and sing along to Motown classics.
Aug. 28: DJ Chris Anthony & Peter Carter’s Tribute to the King of Pop; a Michael Jackson tribute artist will celebrate the King of Pop’s birthday with an amazing show.
