November’s school board election in Brick will feature six candidates vying for two seats on the board, which controls the school district’s $155 million budget.

Incumbents Melita Gagliardi and Daisy Haffner, affiliated with the group formerly known as the “Clean Slate” team, are running to retain their seats under the “Making a Difference” banner.

Meanwhile, Robert “Rob” Canfield and Cassidy “Cas” Busa are running under the “It’s Reform Time” banner. Former board member John Barton is running independently, and newcomer Joseph Aulisi, known for his years of involvement with Brick high school football, is also running on his own.
