The statement did not divulge where the suspected killing occurred nor the nature of the incident. It only said that a homicide occurred Saturday in a residence. Readers told Shorebeat that there was a large police presence in the Cedar Bridge Manor section, especially in the area of Acorn Drive.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Brick Township Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit are investigating.
