A second person is facing charges in connection with the murder of Brick residents Dennis Power, this time for removing evidence from the crime scene after the fact, and apparently destroying it.
Ramelo Adonis, 37, of Brick, has been charged with hindering apprehension, police said Wednesday.
As part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Power on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019, it was determined by detectives that Adonis assisted Ciara Williams – who has been charged with stabbing Power to death in their Brick Gardens apartment – in destroying and removing evidence from the crime scene, the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.
Williams was charged with the murder of Dennis Power on Tuesday, Oct. 1. Adonis was processed at Brick Township Police Headquarters and released pending a future court date.
