While many Shore traditions have been paused for the season, Brick Township is keeping one annual fall event alive.

The township’s annual Kite Fest will be held at Traders Cove Marina and Park on Saturday. The event is free to attend, and those who come can bring their kits or build their own with a kit.

A limited number of kite kits will be available for Brick Township residents only, the township said, but everyone is invited to bring their own kites to fly. Kite Fest will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Traders Cove, located at the foot of the Mantoloking Bridge on the mainland side.
