The Ocean County Library system has closed its Brick Township branch until Saturday so sanitizing can take place.
The closure was announced Thursday afternoon after an employee tested positive for Covid-19, an announcement from the library said.
“All necessary steps have been taken to ensure the safety of our staff and the public,” the announcement said.

Items currently on hold at the Brick Branch will be extended for their patrons’ convenience. Anyone with questions is asked to call any branch of the library system for assistance. The library system’s website also allows access to online programs, databases, and services.
