Brick police arrested two local residents on charges related to their alleged possession of heroin and crack cocaine, the department said in a statement Monday.
The arrest took place Thursday, Feb. 4, when detectives from the department’s Street Crimes Unit were investigating a suspicious vehicle with two occupants in the area of the Brick Motor Inn on Route 70, said Sgt. Jim Kelly.
That traffic stop led to the seizure of 350 wax folds of heroin, paraphernalia, and approximately four grams of crack cocaine. Police arrested George Murray Sr., 53, of Brick, and Christoph J. Polperio, 41, of Toms River.
