Brick will hold its annual Fall Fest celebration Oct. 16, reviving the event after it was called off last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The event, which began in 2016, features a large number of food trucks, plus live music, games, inflatables for kids, a cornhole tournament, fire pits, a beer and wine, plus more events as the day nears. The event will be closed with a fireworks show at dusk.
The township on Monday opened up registration for the cornhole tournament, which organizers hope will be a fun competition. The tournament is open to anyone ages 18 and over. Two-person teams will compete in the double elimination tournament. Games are played to 21 points. Games begin at 2:45 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. (“But we all know the real prize at stake is bragging rights.”)
The registration form can be found online at this link.
Fall Fest will take place Saturday, Oct. 16 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Windward Beach. A rain date has been set for Sunday, Oct. 17.
