Sally Ike Road in Brick Township will be closed for a repaving project Thursday, township officials announced.
The Ocean County Road Department will be milling and paving Sally Ike Road Thursday, according to Brick police. The road department will be working on a small section between Campbell Place and Constitution Drive between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. The road will be closed during those hours and detour signs will be in place.
Crews will be closing the road for a second time between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. to start the paving project in earnest.

“Please plan accordingly and plan an alternate route,” the department said in its announcement.
