Precipitation that moved in overnight between Friday and Saturday will linger through the day, ushering in a cold front that will drop temperatures and ultimately change the rain to snow at night. Fortunately, forecasters at the National Weather Service say, no accumulation is expected.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high near 50 degrees and light winds.
The storm system will begin moving in Friday night, with patchy fog giving way to rainfall, mainly after 10 p.m. The rain will continue Saturday. Toward late afternoon Saturday, a sharp drop in temperatures is expected, from a daytime high of 47 degrees around 10 a.m. – its highest point – to 33 degrees. It will also be breezy Friday, with a southeast wind 10 to 15 m.p.h. becoming northwest 20 to 25 m.p.h. in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 40 m.p.h. as the day moves on.

There will be a chance of snow Saturday night as temperatures continue to fall, bottoming out at 21 degrees. Skies will clear overnight, however, and there is not likely to be any accumulation of snow, according to the NWS forecast.
On Sunday, sunny skies will return, with a high near 36. But it will be breezy, with a west wind 15 to 20 m.p.h.
