Warm Temps On the Way (And A Beautiful Scene on Brick’s Bayfront to Start The Week)

After a weekend of on-and-off foul weather, and chillier-than-normal temperatures, the Shore area will be getting a reprieve from the early April gloominess.

The National Weather Service expects highs to touch 80 degrees this week – except directly at the beach. In some cases, the temperatures will vary drastically from mainland-to-island in Ocean County.

On Tuesday, there will be a chance of showers before 12 noon, followed by increasingly sunny skies. The high on the island will be 64 degrees; the mainland temperature will be 70 degrees.

Wednesday will bring partly sunny skies with an island high of 62 degrees and a mainland high of 70 degrees. Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with a forecast high of 80 on the mainland under sunny skies, but with a chance of a thunderstorm in the late afternoon. On the island, however, the high is expected to be just 68 degrees.
