Brick Township’s annual Farmers Market will begin this Saturday at Windward Beach Park, the start of an annual tradition that has become an anchor of many residents’ weekends.
The first Farmers Market will be held May 7. But beginning May 14, Brick Township Senior Services will offer complimentary door-to-door transportation to the Brick Farmers Market for residents ages 60 and over on the Brick Senior Shuttle. Transportation will begin on Saturday, May 14 and continue on an every-other-week basis until the conclusion of the market season on Sept. 24, 2022.
The Senior Shuttle will pick riders up at their homes, bring them to the market and provide them with ample time to visit all vendors before beginning the return trip home. The service is available to all residents ages 60 and over. Anyone wishing to utilize the Senior Shuttle should call Senior Services at 732-920-8686 at least two days prior to the market. Seating is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Brick Farmers Market is held every Saturday from May 7 through Sept. 24 at Windward Beach Park, off Princeton Avenue, and is open from 8:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. There are over 50 vendors signed up for this year’s market, which are listed below (based on the township’s currently-published list).
Councilwoman Heather deJong, who has shepherded the growth of the market since its inception, said at a township council meeting last week that more vendors will join the market as the season goes on, especially once local New Jersey crops are harvested.
This year will mark the eighth summer of the Market which was started in 2015 by Mayor John G. Ducey and the township council. The township has continued the market ever since.
The Senior Shuttle service was introduced in 2019. While it will be offering rides to the Farmers Market, the program provides free transportation to the Senior Center, shopping areas and more to residents ages 60 and over regularly. More on the shuttle can be found here.
