A store in Brick Township sold a runner-up lottery ticket worth $50,000, state lottery officials said Thursday.
The Brick ticket was one of two New Jersey Lottery tickets that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize in that game’s latest drawing.
The ticket was sold at Welsh Farms, 1765 Route 88, Brick.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, August 3, drawing were: 09, 21, 56, 57, and 66. The Red Power Ball number was 11. The Power Play was 2X. A total of 26,314 New Jersey players took home an estimated $138,184 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, August 6, at 10:59 pm.
