Looking to accomplish some fall cleaning (or buying)?
Brick Township officials announced Monday that the town’s second annual Town-Wide Yard Sale will take place Saturday, Oct. 8. this year.
The inaugural effort last year was a major success, with more than 500 homes taking part.

“This year we are expecting even more,” the township said in an announcement.
Participants will sell their goods at their own homes, in their driveways and yards. The township will compile a list of participating homes – plus the highlights of the good they’ll be selling – and create an interactive Google map to help people find sales. (Shorebeat has embedded the map, as currently updated, below this paragraph! It will continue to update until the day of the sale. So far, 77 homes have registered.)
The cost to participate as a seller is $5 per home. Participation in the sale will count towards the annual limit of four yard sales, per home, per year.
To register as a seller, the township has said to download this form and mail it with payment and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Township Clerk’s Office, 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, NJ 08723. Those wishing to participate as a seller register in person in the Clerk’s office, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
