Brick police are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver’s of a pickup truck who struck a woman while she was getting into her car Oct. 8.
The department released surveillance video on Friday showing the incident from earlier in the month. According to a statement from Sgt. Jim Kelly, the incident occurred at about 8:45 p.m. in the area of West Princeton Avenue and Hoffman Street.
Police said a female pedestrian was entering her vehicle which was parked adjacent to the roadway on West Princeton Avenue when a dark-colored pick-up truck struck her with the passenger side of their vehicle, causing injuries to her face. The vehicle is reported to be a mid-sized pick-up truck, possibly a Ford F-150 crew cab.
Surveillance video from a building on the corner of Route 88 and Hoffman Street shows a dark colored pick-up truck leaving the area and quickly heading west on Route 88 towards Lakewood shortly after the crash. The vehicle’s side mirrors are equipped with turn lamps, and there may be damage to the passenger side mirror, Kelly said.

The victim reported that the vehicle was traveling on West Princeton Avenue, towards Rt. 70, and after the collision made a left turn onto Hoffman Street.
