Children’s car seats are not always the most intuitive devices to install properly in a vehicle, and Brick officials will be lending parents a helping hand to ensure they are placed properly in vehicles.
The program, scheduled for next week, is aimed at parents, expecting parents, grandparents and caregivers.
“Don’t take any chances when it comes to the child’s safety,” an announcement about the event said.
Brick Police EMS will be hosting a “car seat check-up” on Wednesday, April 26 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. ay the Laurelton Fire Company, 1725 Route 88. Child passenger technicians from the EMS will provide a free car seat inspection to make sure it is installed correctly and answer any questions adults might have.
“Stop by and give yourself the peace in mind that comes with knowing your loved one is safe,” the announcement said.
