Brick Township police say they have arrested two men in connection with an investigation into drug distribution in the local area, which culminated in search warrants being executed at two township residences.
According to Ptl. Victoria Finelli, the department’s Street Crimes Unit (SCU) concluded a “lengthy drug investigation with the execution of two residential search warrants” on May 3. The SCU was assisted by the Ocean County Narcotics Strike Force and the Lakewood Street Crimes Unit.
The Special Emergency Response Team, Brick’s designation for what is often referred to as a SWAT team, executed the search warrants – the first on Isadora Court, a condominium complex off Herborn Avenue, and the second on Sawmill Road, a complex off Herbertsville Road. Finelli said crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a digital scale were recovered during the investigation.
