The annual Brick Township Farmers Market will begin a new season at Windward Beach Park this Saturday, May 6.
The township has updated its list of vendors who will be selling everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, to food, to local wine, to craft items at the market. This year, the township council also decided, on a trial basis, to allow customers to bring their dogs to the market with them, as long as the animals are leashed and people do not bring aggressive dogs with them.
The township lists 58 vendors as having signed up this season, though all may not be present at once since some businesses are seasonal. Additional businesses can also join the market as the season continues.

The Farmers Market will be held on the large lawn (near the band shell) at Windward Beach Park every Saturday through Sept. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is no admission fee; the township traditionally hosts one extra Farmers Market event before the Thanksgiving holiday.
