Brick Township’s annual Fall Fest celebration at Windward Beach Park has been moved to a new date, Saturday, Oct. 28, due to a forecast of foul weather. The township did not utilize the original rain date after Sunday’s forecast also appeared to be poor.
Fall Fest was originally scheduled for Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, Saturday will bring rain, mainly after 2 p.m., adding up to as much of a half-inch of precipitation. Fall Fest will be held Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a new rain date of Oct. 29.
As Shorebeat reported earlier this week, the event will feature 14 food trucks (see the list below), vendors, fire pits, hatchet throwing, a hay maze, games and much more. There will be a beer and wine garden for guests ages 21 and over. A highlight will be the annual Corn Hole Tournament. The event will conclude with a “dazzling” fireworks display over the Metedeconk River, an announcement from the township said.
