Brick’s a lucky place to be lately!
New Jersey state lottery officials said Monday that one lucky Brick shopper won a $50,000 prize after purchasing a Powerball ticket at a township supermarket for the Dec. 16 drawing.
The ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn, winning the $50,000 third-tier prize. It was sold at the ShopRite supermarket at Route 70 and Chambersbridge Road, Brick.
The winning numbers for the Saturday, December 16, drawing were: 03, 09, 10, 20 and 62. The Red Power Ball number was 25.
There were no grand prize winners of the Powerball. The game’s jackpot has rolled to $543,000,000 for the Monday, Dec. 18 drawing.
