The Brick Township branch of the Ocean County Library will host a program on ghost hunting in New Jersey, including the chance to interact with a group of people who actually conduct paranormal investigations in the region.

A “powerful paranormal program” hosted by South Jersey Ghost Research will be presented at the library at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, 2024.

Packed with “education and intrigue,” the program will start with a 25-minute video that highlights the group’s members and their mission to help those who seek their services, completely free of charge. Those who attend will become familiar with SJGR’s photos and equipment, and with spirit voices known as Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP) that members have recorded during investigations in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. A question-and-answer segment will follow.

South Jersey Ghost Research investigates historic sites and assists people curious or concerned about spirit activity where they live or work. The work is more serious than many think – in addition to 18 members, the group retains the services of religious, Wiccan and Pagan consultants to locate spirits and similar phenomena.

Registration for the event is required and can be obtained at this link. For more information, stop by the OCL Brick Branch, 301 Chambers Bridge Road, call 732-477-4513 or visit https://theoceancountylibrary.org/events.
