A repaving and drainage improvement project in one of Brick Township’s bayfront neighborhoods will be completed following the approval of a shared services agreement with Ocean County.

The Bay Harbor neighborhood, located in the southernmost portion of the township, will be repaved under a joint effort by the township and county, since the county owns portions of the two main streets to be improved. The council unanimously approved the plan at a meeting last week.

The project will see the repaving of Blue Cedar Drive and Bay Way. The county’s portion runs on Bay Way from the intersection with Blue Cedar Drive to the roadway’s easterly terminus. Brick’s portion of the project will cost $51,895, with the remainder being funded by Ocean County.
