Brick Township’s annual Summerfest celebration will return this season, with four events in July featuring concerts and fireworks, as well as a variety of food options and more.
Though the list of vendors sometimes expands before the summer, the Brick Township council awarded its contracts for vendors this week. Summerfest is held on four Thursdays in July, from July 3 to July 24, with additional dates added in case of foul weather. The contracts also include the township’s annual Fall Fest event that is held in October.
This year, the beer and wine garden for the five events will again be provided by Windward Tavern, which bid $8,750 to serve as vendor. Fireworks will be provided by Schaefer Fireworks, of Strasburg, PA, for a total of $37,375. The fireworks displays are $5,800 each, with the exception of July 3, where the display will cost $14,175. Fireworks displays are funded through corporate sponsorships, primarily by the Pine Belt chain of auto dealerships and several other entities.

Food vendors were also selected, including:
- Tony’s Italian Sausage ($2,612, sausages and cheesesteaks).
- Dellano Food Service ($2,327, hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, mozzarella sticks, etc.).
- You Scream Ice Cream ($2,525).
- John & Debbie O’s ($2,531, funnel cakes, fried Oreos).
- Main Scoop Creamery ($1,304, Italian ice).
- John & Debbie O’s ($1,126, Butterfly Fries).
- Ohana Grill Food Truck, Lavallette ($1,003, lobster, shrimp, fish, chicken sliders, tacos, pulled pork).
