Police, Fire & Courts Brick Police Locate Car Linked to Shots Fired in Lakewood by Daniel Nee November 13, 2014 Brick police located a car early Thursday morning that was suspected in a gun incident in Lakewood earlier. Lakewood police say they responded at approximately 3:15 a.m. to the Golfview Apartment complex to a report of several shots being fired. Upon arrival, Officer Michael Anderson observed the rear sliding door of two units were shattered as a result, but no one was injured. Witnesses in the area told police they heard three or four gunshots prior to observing a white colored Chevy Malibu fleeing the area. Several occupants inside the vehicle were transported to the Lakewood Police Station for questioning, though no arrests were reported.
