A Brick man was hospitalized due to his level of intoxication after Lacey Township police arrested him on a drunk driving charge Nov. 19 following an accident.

William J. Morley, 49, was charged after police say he crashed his 1999 Ford F-350 pickup truck into a retention basin off Route 9 in Forked River.

Morley was transported to Lacey Township police headquarters where he provided samples of his breath before being processed, Chief David Paprota said. He was then transported to Community Medical Center due to his level of intoxication.
