The Brick Township council will focus mainly on routine business at its meeting Tuesday night, according to an agenda for the meeting provided to Shorebeat.
The governing body is set to honor students of the month from town once the meeting gets underway at 7 p.m., then consider numerous items as part of its usual consent agenda, including the purchase of a scoreboard at the Drum Point Sports Complex, the purchase of new powered stretchers for the township’s EMS squad and authorize special events permits for the Feast of the Assumption at Epiphany Roman Catholic Church and a tent sale at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
The council will also consider performance bond releases for the New Visions – formerly Nobility Crest – development which is under construction off Chambers Bridge Road behind the U.S. Post Office. The council previously chose not to return bonds held for that project.
