A paving project that will cause some delays on Hooper Avenue in Brick (commonly known as Old Hooper) will take place Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. The project was originally scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
According to Sgt. Larry Petrola, paving on the county road will begin at 7 p.m. and end at 6 a.m., on both days. Work will require the closing of Hooper Avenue from the Mantoloking Road/Cedar Bridge Avenue intersection to Drum Point Road, police said. The paving project includes the intersection of Hooper Avenue and Drum Point Road.
Detours will be set up and should be followed. The work is expected to be completed by Thursday morning at 6 a.m.
