Brick Township has accepted a $1.1 million grant to reimburse a portion of the spending required to improve several parks in town.

The $1.1 million comes in the form of state Green Acres funding, and covers improvements to Herbertsville Park (formerly known as Colorado Park), Angela Hibbard Park and Lake Riviera Park.

Rebuilds of all three parks had been funded fully through the township’s capital budget. Click for more information on Herbertsville Park, Angela Hibbard Park and Lake Riviera Park.
