State lottery officials have confirmed that a $100,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at a Toms River gas station.

The ticket was sold at the Fischer Bay Exxon, 826 Fischer Blvd. It was the only third-place or better prizewinning ticket sold in Ocean County from Wednesday night’s $1.5 billion jackpot, which was split by three ticketholders from California, Florida and Tennessee.



In addition to 46 third place tickets sold statewide, there was one $2 million and one $1 million winning tickets sold in New Jersey. The $2 million second-prizewinning ticket was purchased at the Wawa at 76 Springside Rd., Westampton in Burlington County; the $1 million second-prizewinning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 171 Buckelew Ave., Jamesburg in Middlesex County.

In addition, 1,135,393 New Jersey players took home an estimated $5,487,162 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Jan. 13 drawing were: 04, 08, 19, 27 and 34. The Red Power Ball number was 10. The Multiplier number was 02.
