Police are on the scene of what is reportedly a bank robbery at the TD Bank branch on Cedar Bridge Avenue in Brick.
Details remain sketchy, but the robbery occurred just before 11 a.m. and apparently resulted in a bank employee being assaulted. The suspect fled the scene toward west, in the direction of the Mr. Tire store which is located next to the bank branch. Brick police notified other agencies in Ocean and Monmouth counties about the suspect, who was described as a while male wearing a hoodie and blue jeans.
More information will be posted once it is formally released by police.
