Complaints from residents led police to conduct an investigation that eventually turned up drugs and weapons, and resulted in three arrests.

The investigation took place in the Evergreen Woods condominium complex, Sgt. Neal Pedersen said. During a court-authorized search of a home on Belinda Court – as well as a Chrysler 200 vehicle – police found a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, oxycodone and a quantity of Promethazine (commonly known as “Lean,” “Sizzurp” or “Purple Drank”)  and two hand guns, a 9mm and a 40 cal.

The guns are believed to have been taken from homes during burglaries, Pedersen said.
