Police have charged a Brick woman with drunk driving and assault by auto following an accident that occurred last weekend.
Carmela N. Genna, 28, was charged by Wall Township police after completing an investigation of a motor vehicle crash in the area of State Highway 34 and Wyckoff Road that happened just after midnight Sunday.
Police did not comment on the extent of the injuries sustained by those involved in the crash. Genna was processed on a summons and later released in accordance with John’s Law, police said. She was charged with driving while intoxicated and assault by auto.
