A Jersey Cash 5 lottery ticket worth over $64,000 was purchased in Brick, lottery officials said.
One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $64,555 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Sunday, Oct. 1 drawing. The winning numbers were: 03, 05, 09, 14 and 28 and the XTRA number was: 03. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Buyrite of Brick, 989 Burnt Tavern Rd., Brick.
Executive Director Carole Hedinger said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Buyrite of Brick. The retailer willreceive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
