Daniel Woska, a longtime member of the Brick Township Board of Education and once served as its president, has died, officials said.
The current board president, Stephanie Wohlrab, announced Woska’s passing and spoke about his contributions to the district at a board meeting late last week. Woska, who was 63, died April 24 at his home.
“He had profound positive impacts on the district’s students, staff, faculty, and taxpayers, not only for his long tenure [as a board member], but in his many years since,” said Wohlrab. “The Brick community is forever grateful for his service, and efforts advancing Brick schools.”
