Brick’s annual Menorah Lighting Ceremony is set for the second day of Hanukkah this year.

The annual event includes the ceremonial lighting of the Menorah – the first two lights, to be specific – and a talk by Rabbi Robert Rubin of Temple Beth Or off Van Zile Road.

Each year, Rubin explains the meaning of the eight candles, the religious and cultural significance of the holiday, and even how to use a dreidel for those who haven’t tried. The event is open to people of all faiths.
