Brick PD Arrests Six at Home Used as Drug Den Following Neighbors’ Complaints

A home in Brick Township’s Baywood section was being used for frequent drug activity, neighbors told police, prompting the department’s elite Street Crimes Unit to launch an investigation and ultimately execute a search warrant at the home.

Information gleaned during the investigation of the house on Baywood Boulevard led to the issuance of a search warrant for the residence, which was executed Wednesday night, Aug. 26, said Sgt. Jim Kelly. The warrant execution resulted in the arrest of six people for drugs and paraphernalia as well as the primary resident, Michelle Lanzieri, 54, being charged with maintaining a nuisance. The arrestees and their charges are:



  • Lanzieri, charged on a warrant for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of paraphernalia and maintaining a nuisance. Lanzieri was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
  • Ryan Chapman, 39, of Howell, charged on a warrant for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. Chapman was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
  • John Brown Jr., 51, of Point Pleasant Beach, charged on a warrant for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles and paraphernalia. Brown Jr. also had an outstanding warrant for his arrest out of Lakewood for theft of an automobile.
  • Daniel Iacovelli, 39, of Brick, charged on a summons for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of hypodermic needles and paraphernalia.
  • Jill Farrelly, 38, of Brick, charged on a warrant for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of hypodermic needles and paraphernalia. Farrelly was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
  • Tracy Martin, 37, of Brick, charged on a warrant for possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of Xanax, amphetamines, Suboxone, and paraphernalia. Martin was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
