Brick Township police are pursuing charges against a Lakewood man they say was in the business of distributing drugs.
The department’s Street Crimes Unit obtained a search warrant for James Wallace, 34, of Lakewood, on Oct. 6, said Sgt. Jim Kelly. The warrant was served Oct. 16, resulting in Wallace being charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of heroin with the intent to distribute.
The Street Crimes Unit detectives seized approximately 10 wax folds of heroin, a plastic bag containing cocaine, drug packaging materials and an undisclosed amount of cash, said Kelly.

Wallace’s charges were issued on a warrant and he was lodged in Ocean County Jail.
