It’s a spooky time of year – and if your house is the scariest on the block, it’s time to show it off.
Brick Township is hosting its first ever Halloween Home Decorating Contest this year, courtesy of the Recreation Department.
Residents can enter the contest by registering at https://brickrec.twp.brick.nj.us/ beginning Oct. 9 (today). After registering, take your best picture of your home and email it to jnapoli@twp.brick.nj.us by Oct. 23. The township will create a photo gallery on its Facebook page, and the home with the most likes registered between Oct. 26 and Oct. 30 at 12 noon will be the winner.

The winning home – in addition to bragging rights – will be featured in the township’s next Recreation brochure.
