Brick police officers cooperated with a number of other law enforcement agencies in a month-long investigation that culminated in the arrest of two local men after the execution of four search warrants in Brick and Lakewood, authorities announced Monday.
Residential search warrants were served on Laurel Avenue in Brick and in the Woodlake Manor and High Point complexes in Lakewood. One warrant was executed on a vehicle. The exact dates of the searches were not divulged.
As a result of the investigations, James Brown Jr., 40, of Lakewood, was arrested for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. Brown was lodged in the Ocean County Jail.

Ricky Enalls, 42, of Lakewood, was also arrested and charged with possession of cocaine. Enalls was released on a summons.
The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Lakewood Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team assisted in the investigation and execution of the search warrants, Brick police said.
