Brick Township will host its annual Trunk or Treat event later this week.
The event has grown exponentially from when it first began about a decade ago, necessitating some scheduling changes to make the celebration flow more smoothly and ensure all children get to participate. Trunk or Treat will be held this Friday, Oct. 22 in the parking lot of the Drum Point Sports Complex.
Like last year, there will be three sessions – 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Families must register for one of the sessions and arrive on time. The Trunk or Treat event is open to Brick Township residents only.
The township’s Recreation Department, which runs Trunk or Treat, is accepting donations of candy for the event. All donated candy will be distributed to vehicles participating in the event to hand out to trunk-or-treaters. Anyone who would like to participate by decorating their vehicle and handing out treats can call Recreation at 732-262-1073 for details.
- Advanced registration is required. A receipt must be presented at the gate.
- Register only 1 person per car.
- No admission without proof of registration.
- Costumes are required for anyone trunk-or-treating.
Registration can be completed at this link or in person at the Recreation Office, located in Civic Plaza at 270 Chambers Bridge Road.
