A developer is proposing a six-home subdivision on a large, empty parcel of land that is current wooded.

Joseph T. Gass, whose construction company bears his name, is seeking approval to to subdivide an existing tract into 6 new conforming lots for single-family homes. There is another home already under construction at the far end of the property being built by the same firm.

The subdivision conforms fully to the township’s zoning code and no variances are required. A hearing before the planning board is a standard requirement before any land is subdivided, even if the resulting lots are conforming. The property also attends the hearing to reaffirm any previous variances or waivers that had been granted to the property, if any exist.

The application will be heard at the Nov. 10 meeting of the planning board, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the municipal complex.
