Brick Township will be distributing dune grass for any resident who would like to plant the grass on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Brick Beach I from 8 a.m. until 12 noon.
The dune grass is traditionally planted to help strengthen and stabilize dunes. The dune grass being distributed is provided by Ocean County and distributed to oceanfront communities and is available for planting on dunes on public and private property.
There is no registration required; residents can simply come to Brick Beach I and pick up the plants.
