New Five-Home Development Approved by Brick Planning Board

Brick Township’s planning board has approved a new five-home subdivision that will bring a new look to a neighborhood off Mantoloking Road.

The development will be located at what was previously 30-70 Nejecho Drive, near the corner of Lagoon Drive in the Nejecho Beach neighborhood. F&S Holding Company, owned by Vincent Favia, Anthony Storino and Vincent Storino, of Point Pleasant Beach, according to tax records, proposed the subdivision earlier this year with the aim of converting two residential lots to five residential lots, each of which could support a single-family home in the R7.5 zone. There are currently two residences standing; one will be demolished and the other will remain amidst the new construction. The five lots will be carved out of the existing two properties, which measure 1.16 acres.

Minor variance relief was required due to the shape of one of the lots, and to develop the property with an 18-foot setback instead of the required 25-foot setback, largely due to a right-of-way dedication that will measure 8.5-feet.

The four new homes to be built will measure 2,590 square feet, 2,400 square feet, 1,464 square feet, and 1,687 square feet.  Each will stand two stories tall.
