With flowers blooming and mild weather on the horizon, Brick Township has announced its spring leaf collection schedule.
Brick Township’s annual spring collection of bagged leaves will begin this Monday, April 3. As usual, the collection dates correspond to one’s recycling pickup schedule, which is displayed below.
Residents are asked to have their bagged leaves at the curb by 6 a.m. on the first day of their collection period. Only leaves in bags will be collected, and bags must not weigh more than 50-pounds. The township asks that residents do not put branches, twigs or debris in bags.

The schedule is as follows:
- If your recycling day is Friday, your lead collection dates are April 3 – April 5.
- If your recycling day is Monday, your lead collection dates are April 6 – April 10.
- If your recycling day is Tuesday, your lead collection dates are April 1 – April 13.
- If your recycling day is Wednesday, your lead collection dates are April 14 – April 18.
- If your recycling day is Thursday, your lead collection dates are April 19 – April 21.
Leaves may also be brought to the Brick Township Recycling Center, 836 Ridge Road, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Leaves are also accepted at the Ocean County Recycling Center, New Hampshire Avenue, Lakewood Township.
