$50K Powerball Ticket Sold at Point Pleasant Convenience Store

State lottery officials said a ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a 7-Eleven convenience store on Route 88. The ticket was for the Powerball game, the numbers for which were drawn Wednesday night.

One California Lottery player won the $1.08 billion Powerball jackpot from the Wednesday, July 19, drawing. This was the third largest Powerball jackpot and the seventh largest U.S. lottery jackpot in history. The cash value is $558 million. Two New Jersey Lottery tickets matched five of the five white balls drawn winning the $1 million second-tier prize. Those tickets were sold in North Jersey.



The only ticket with major winnings sold locally was at the 7-Eleven at 701 Route 88, Point Pleasant.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, July 19, drawing were: 07, 10, 11, 13, and 24. The Red Power Ball number was 24. The Power Play was 2X. 225,345 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $1,193,509 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200. The Powerball jackpot resets to $20,000,000 for the next drawing to be held Saturday, July 22, at 10:59 pm.
